The back of my knee kind of pops and kind of hurts during certain exercises. Anything to do to stop this ?

It happens during mat pilates and other exercise classes, particularly where I have to kick my leg out behind me. Is this something that will go away or are there exercises to strengthen/limber this area ? Or (gulp) is this something that could get worse ? These exercises kick butt on …well, my butt and my saddle bags, so I don’t really want to stop doing them…

Number one I’d probably get it checked. So that if you do have an injury it can be treated and make it feel better so you can keep on doing your "kick butt" exercises. Here’s a good link I found. Check out the section on sprains in the middle of the article. Hopefully this helps.

    i get the same thing so i stoped going to the gym and to the ice rink as it got quite bad

    I had this same problem when I played squash. Eventually I found out it was because I wasn’t stretching properly or for long enough. Make sure to stretch before hand and the more you stretch the better. It gets your ligaments and joints ready for the harder workouts. Good luck.

    Consult a doc. U shud be ok if u avoid jurking exercises particularly in respect of knee joints.

    Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

    Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

    U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.
