What is the future for Fitness industry? mainly for Pilates and Yoga instructors?

Will there be a great demand and better income?
Can certified Pilates and Yoga instruction be considered a career?

I think it depends where you live in the world as to the future for the industry. In some places pilates and yoga instructors already earn a good salary and are able to make a good career out of teaching yoga, and the popularity of both are increasing, especially in urban environments. Incomes are likely to increase as their is more demand for these teachers and more people engage with these activities. But, yes, I do consider it to be a career currently.
I’m looking for a dvd that focuses on core stability exercises, it really seems to help with toning! Are there any you would recommend? ![]()
I like the Gaiam ones with Ana Caban. There is one excellent routine – I think it’s called Total Body Sculpting – that comes with two ergonomic handweights.
I use a variety of different pilates vidoes, many that utilize tools like handwights or resistance bands, and stability balls. I find anything from Stottt Pilates excellent; Mari Winsor is okay, and as stated above, I love Ana Caban.
For Yoga, again I have a variety – Rodney Yee, Seane Corne, Shiva Rea. Jillian Michael’s new Yoga Burn isn’t true "yoga", but explores different postures in a really neat way.
Like anything else, variety is key for long-tem success.
